_At Harriers we have a dedicated, skilled and talented team of coaches.  Led by Sarah Bateman, our head coach, they provide a high level of coaching and support to all gymnasts in the club.  Many of our coaches are former Harriers gymnasts and because of this have a unique understanding of the physical and emotional demands placed on the gymnasts when training and preparing for competitions.  Harriers coaches very much care about the gymnasts that train here and ensure that the environment they train in is a happy and safe one.  Parents are always welcome to talk to their child's coaches to discuss any worries or ask any questions they may have.

We have a number of Welfare Officers at the club who can be contacted if gymnasts or parents have any issues they wish to discuss.  The Welfare Officers also accompany the gymnasts when competing away from home.

All staff are CRB-checked and undertake regular training to keep their skills up-to-date and provide the best coaching possible.
