Once you have submitted your initial enquiry, you'll be contacted to arrange your child's free trial. Our coaches can then decide which squad will best suit your child.
Harriers Acrobatic Gymnastics Club runs classes throughout the week to suit gymnasts of all ages (must be of school age) and ability from complete beginners and recreational gymnasts to International Competition standard.
For all classes fees are payable in full at the start of each term.
We reserve the right to cancel any session during the scheduled term dates.
Recreational Gymnastics - Chipmunk, Puma and Squirrel Squads:
Recreational classes provide a fun and safe environment for your child to learn the basic shapes and skills of gymnastics as well as introduce them to Acrobatic Gymnastics. Along the way they will have the opportunity to work towards British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards and to take part in our Annual Club Competition and Christmas Show.
These classes consist of small groups of gymnasts split according to age and ability. Coaches tailor the session to suitably challenge individuals whilst ensuring they are having fun and progressing at their own pace. Each session follows a similar format and concentrates on the various aspects and elements of basic gymnastic skills, fitness and body conditioning.
Gymnasts will take part in one session per week at Patchway Sports Centre on Saturday mornings. Our club operates a talent identification programme, and through this, gymnasts may be invited to attend either additional progressive sessions or to join our competition squads.
There is no uniform required for recreational gymnastics - a leotard for girls or comfortable shorts and a t-shirt will be suitable for beginners. We stock a selection of club sportswear and this can be ordered once your child has joined the club.
