Recreational Classes

Chipmunk - Aged up to 8, Puma - Aged over 8, Squirrel - Progressive Tops

Recreational classes provide a fun and safe environment for your child to learn the basic shapes and skills of gymnastics as well as introduce them to Acrobatic Gymnastics. Along the way they will have the opportunity to work towards British Gymnastics Proficiency Awards and to take part in our Annual Club Competition and Christmas Show.

These classes consists of smaller groups of gymnasts split according to age and ability to allow the coaches to tailor the session to suitably challenge individuals whilst ensuring they are having fun and progressing at their own pace. Each session follows a similar format and concentrates on the various aspects and elements of basic gymnastic skills, fitness and body conditioning

Gymnasts will take part in one session per week or may be invited to attend additional “Progressive Sessions” depending on ability.
